Thanksgiving, Anniversary, and Alabama Football

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted. Things have been great but busy here.

Papaw is doing great. Grandma Jaudon is still hanging in there. Bless her, she hasn't been feeling well, but still hanging in.
Well Thanksgiving has come and gone. We had a great time with family. We ate lots of food at my parents and Jason's parents.

Today is our 5 year anniversary, hard to believe in some ways, but in others seems as if we have been together forever. On Thanksgiving 6 years ago, Jason proposed to me at his mom and dads with all the family present. This has been 5/6 wonderful years together, can't wait to see what the next 5 years have in store for us. I posted a picture of us 6 years ago today at my Grandma Jaudon's 90th birthday, which was just 2 days after we got engaged. I also posted a picture from our wedding, sorry it isn't the best on, but all the goods ones are in frames our in our album.

For our anniversary we had planned to go stay at Ross Bridge Spa and Resort in Hoover AL, but with everything going on and it been one of the busiest weekends of the year we decided to put it off for another weekend. So, we went to Little Tokyo, my fave, and had sushi, then went and watched Four Christmases. It was a cute movie, we hadn't been to the movies together in a while, so it was nice

Of course, we can't forget about "THE GAME" today. That would be Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers. All I have to say is ROLL TIDE ROLL!!! The only thing better than a win, is a shut out...36-0, can't get any better than that.

Getting ready for the game

I did get the Christmas tree put up on Friday. It is too cute, can't wait to get all the presents bought and wrapped, though we are almost done buying, just got to get busy wrapping.

Hope you enjoy the pictures. Hope everyone has a great upcoming week. God Bless

Prayers were answered

Just a quick update on my Papaw. He did have heart cath Sunday in Honolulu and was showed to have a 70% blockage which was able to be corrected with a stent. Praise the Lord!!! I talked with my Mamaw yesterday and they were at the airport waiting on flight back to Maui and said Papaw was great. My mom talked with them last night and they were headed to a Luau, guess nothing is going to slow him down. They should arrive back home on Friday.

Today is my Grandma Jaudon's 96th birthday today. I went lastnight and spent a few hours with her, then Jason and I went over tonight and stayed a little while. I asked if there was anything I could do for her, and she looked up at me and said, "I just want to feel better." This broke my heart, b/c there isn't anything I can do. She will feel better one day soon I pray. Bless her!!

This is a picture of my Grandma and her only daughter Carol in April 08

Not much going on with us this week. We are planning on going to see Jeremy, Nina, and Bronner on Saturday. Can't wait to see how much he has changed.

God Bless whoever reads this and I hope everyone has a good rest of the week.

What a great feeling...

...Being an Aunt. I never really thought much about it, but Wow, I love that little guy. Can't imagine what it will feel like to be a mom!!

Bronner made his appearance Monday the 10th at 4:47, he was 7lbs. 15 oz. 21 in. long. He is just adorable! I am so proud of Nina, she did wonderfully, she is for sure my role model and will be right by my side when I experience childbirth! She was absoultely amazing, she never complainned and I still haven't heard her complain, Hope I will be that way!

My Grandparents left on Wednesday for Hawaii, were suppose to leave on Monday, but were delayed d/t some back problems my papaw was having. So, after a steriod dose pak the discomfort was better, so on their way they went. They were meeting 2 other couples there. Well after a day of chest pain, that has I guess, steadly gotten worse, Papaw has ended up in the Emergency Room in Maui. My Mamaw called mom very upset, glad she has friends there with her. They were hooking him up to monitors and we haven't heard anything yet. It is hard being here and unable to do anything, all we can do is PRAY!

Grandma Jaudon is still not doing well, slept most of the day today. Mom and Aunt Ronda are staying the night, hopefully all will have a good nights rest.

We had planned on going to see Baby Bronner, Nina, and Jeremy today, but decided against it. Jason had to take another part of his praxis II test today and didn't make it home till noon and he was exhausted and just felt very bad, he slept most of the afternoon. I hate we missed Bronner today, but we didn't want to chance going with Jason not feeling well. Plus, it was Alabama home game against Mississippi State, so we would have ran into game day traffic, so our plans are to go next weekend.

Please Pray for Papaw and continue to pray for Grandma Jaudon. Also pray Bronner has a good check up next week, he has been jaundice, but it is improving, so hopefully they will have a good checkup.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Happy November

Wow, can't believe November is already here, time flies when having fun!! Jason and I had an uneventful fun week at home this past week, which was nice. We did go to a couple of Caleb's and several of the youth boys basketball games, which was exciting.

Friday afternoon we decided to go over and see Jeremy and Nina, our last visit with them before baby Bronner. We went and spent a little time at the Galleria. Jason has been wanting to find a teddy bear for Bronner. His Uncle Ronnie gave him one when he was a baby and he still has the bear, which his name is Teddy. Jason has looked online and several places for the "right" bear, but has been unable to find one in his price range. He decided to go to Bulid a Bear and found the "right" one. It is just a simple soft normal looking teddy bear, which he named Teddy.

We then went and had supper at BoneFishGrill. We got there early, so we were able to walk in and have a seat, which was great not having to wait. Supper was AWESOME. We had never been there and it was everything we expected and more. After supper we went to a grocery store named Whole Food. It was the coolest grocery store ever. It was very unusual and organic type foods. They even had a olive bar with like 20 different type of olives, GREATNESS!! Can't wait to go back there!!

Saturday not much went on but football, love college football!!! Went over to Drew and Sayonia's and had take out for supper, we always enjoying spending time with them!!

We do thank the Lord for another month he has given us. We do have a very eventful, exciting, busy month coming up. We will be awaiting the birth of our nephew Bronner, he will be making his entrance between now and the 10th. We are planning our Fall Festivial at church for the 8th. My dad's bday is the 6th, he will be 51, and we do thank the Lord for all he has given us with my father this past year, it has been long and hard for us all, but the LORD never puts more on us than we can handle. Happy Birthday Daddy!! Also it will be my Grandma Jaudon's 96th bdady, if the Lord willing her to have a birthday here with us, she has had a long couple of months, but still hanging in there. I love you Grandma!! Also we have Thanksgiving, Our 5th Anniversary, many JR high Basketball games, and Alabama football games!!!

Sorry no pictures, I forgot my camera at home :(

I will leave with a quote I found online yesterday. I thought it was very fitting with all that has been going on with my Grandma... "If I had never met you, I would not like you. If I did not like you, I would not love you. If I did not love you, I would not miss you. But I did, I do, and I always will." ~Unknown

Our Weekend

Saturday morning I got up early and got ready and my mother in law Denise, friend Sayonia, and her daughter Sarah Catherine came over and we went to Celebration Village in Tupelo for a fun filled day of shopping. We spent half the day shopping then had lunch at Olive Garden. We got Bronner some cute things, at one point Sarah Catherine said "I am tired of looking at baby stuff." So that tells you what we were actually shopping for, I did actually get one Christmas gift. (Sarah and I being silly on the way home)

(A must have for the young Alabama fan)

After getting home Saturday afternoon, Jason and I decided to have supper with Colin and Heather and we had sushi, which is our favorite!! It was Yummy!!

(YUMMY YUMMY)

On Sunday afternoon Jason and I took the youth group to a Judgement House in Winfield, AL and had supper afterwards at The Boar's Butt, which was very yummy and we must go back. Hope everyone has a great week.

Joining the Blogging World....

...So, I thought since I was looking at everyone's blogs, I would make my own. I have no clue how to do this, so be patient while I figure this out. I first started looking at blogs when my sister in law, Nina, started one to update everyone on her pregnancy and it has just gone from there. I don't have much exciting things to write about in our lives, but maybe someone will find it exciting. Not much going our lives these days, just waiting the arrival of our sweet little nephew, Bronner McKee Junkin. We are so excited about this little guy and it just a couple of weeks he will be here. We will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in November, doesn't seem that long ago. We have had some wonderful times together and thank the Lord daily for all he has blessed us with. We still live in Hamilton, Jason is the youth and music director at Hamilton Baptist and I am working as LPN at West Point Medical Clinic. We have Rocky and Bama who keep us entertained. We are praying for gudiance in our lives on when to start a family, we are getting closer, but not there yet.

Hope y'all enjoy reading and maybe I will have something exciting to write about to keep everyone entertained.
